Product Description
Belt sideways movement is usually occurred in the process of conveying bulk materials in mining site, power plants and ports. Without prompt correction, when deviation reaches to some extent it will probably result in production accident and immeasurable loss to enterprises. CK alignment idler is the ideal correcting device to solve the problems caused by non-design and non-manufacture reasons and has been used widely across the conveying industry.
Offset Training Trough Idler, Training Roller
It has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient installation, reliable performance, strong tracking ability, low operation costs and long service life. It's a new tracking device for belt conveyors and important auxiliary equipment for the safe operation of belt conveyors. Chengke is able to design inversed-V idlers with different belt width to meet different demand of customers.
1          Working principle  
When the belt goes wrong and accesses to the wall round, it swings outward. According to the lever principle, the conveyor belt gives the wall round a small force, and passes it through the connecting rod to the wheel roller with a bigger force, thus presses the swing roller frame to move counter-clockwise rotation around the pin at an angle so that the rotating roller gives the belt a force from the opposite direction to the deviation to achieve the goal of correction. Similarly, when the belt conveyor deviates toward the other side, the other side of the body plays a corrective role.
2          Structure
Its four main parts:
Ø  Side wheel: The new polymer nano polyester material has the characteristic of high elasticity, toughness and good wear resistance which guarantees a long service life of the side wheel.
Ø  Connecting rod: It is welded by two rods and middle shaft. Each rod is installed on the two sides of the beam with fixed angle and can rotate around axis. The side wheels are fixed on the one end of the connecting rod while the rolling wheel is linked on the other end of the rod.
Ø  Beam: It is fixed on the brackets to connect the swing frame and connecting rod.
Ø  Swing frame: It is fixed on the beam and can rotate around the axis. By installing the roller on the swing frame, it can swing with the joint force caused by the rolling wheel and belt.
3          Characteristics
Ø  Strong ability of tracking: The sideway movement can be corrected by the rotation of the rollers.
Ø  Automatic and timely correction: Sideway movements can be automatically and timely corrected.
Ø  Simple and reliable structure, convenient installation, low maintenance costs and wide using range.
4          Guide for installation
Ø  At least three units of the inversed-V idlers should be installed continuously beneath the return belt between head pulley and tail pulley.
Ø  Fixed the beam on the middle brackets tightly with bolt. Hoist the swing frame with two rollers beneath the beam and connect it with pivot. By adjusting the connecting rod on the two sides, the rolling wheel on the two sides will press on the swing frame then the swing frame can swing freely with the force of the rolling wheel.
Ø  Fix the side wheel on the other end of the connecting rod.
